A Night of Poetry for the Birds will be held on Saturday, Aug. 29 at West Hartford’s Westmoor Park.

The public is invited to celebrate the birds who fill our mornings with song, who inspire us as they soar through the air.

Join West Hartford’s Poet Laureate, Claire Rossini, to celebrate the beauty of birds through poetry on Aug. 29, from 6-8 p.m. at Westmoor Park (Outdoor Classroom), 119 Flagg Road, West Hartford, CT 06117.

You are invited to bring a poem to read. It can be one you’ve written or a favorite penned by someone else.

Everyone is welcome! Kids, teens, adults, poets, poets-to-be, everyone who enjoys poetry and birds.
