West Hartford Police Hoping to Locate 2 Vehicles as Investigation of Fatal Pedestrian Collision Continues

Police are asking the public for any additional information related to two vehicles seen in the area where a pedestrian was fatally struck on Nov. 8, 2024.

The West Hartford Police Department Traffic Division is continuing the investigation of the collision on Nov. 8, 2024 that resulted in the death of 87-year-old pedestrian Patricia Brulotte, and are attempting to locate two vehicles that were seen traveling in the area at the time of the incident.
Police distributed surveillance photos on Wednesday of two vehicles seen traveling in the area of Oakwood Avenue and St. James Street on Nov. 8, 2024, at approximately 5:05 p.m., and are hoping someone will be able provide additional information that will help locate them. Police told We-Ha.com that they are not sure what types of vehicles are pictured in the images nor have they officially identified the colors of the vehicles.
Police did indicate in their original news release about the incident that the driver of a vehicle that that struck Brulotte remained on the scene and was cooperating with the investigation.
There is no information available about the possible involvement in the incident of either of the pictured vehicles, but police are hoping to find them in order to obtain additional information to assist in their investigation.
Brulotte was rushed to an area hospital with serious injuries after being struck and died as a result of those injuries the following day, police said. A vigil was held at the intersection of Oakwood Avenue and St. James Street on Nov. 11.
