West Hartford Police Searching for Suspects Who Stole ATMs

West Hartford Police said two ATMs were stolen from gas station convenience stores in town.

West Hartford Police were called to the Shell gas station at 338 Park Rd., at the corner of Park and South Quaker Lane, at 4:12 a.m. Friday on the report of a burglary and found that the front door had been damaged and the ATM was missing.

According to police, other officers involved in the investigation checked on other area businesses and found that the Shell gas station at 195 Prospect Ave. (intersection with Kane Street) also appeared to have been burglarized and the ATM was missing.

Police said that other similar incidents have been reported throughout the Hartford area, and they are coordinating their investigation with departments from those towns.
