West Hartford Restaurants Among the Participants in Annual ‘Hartford Taste’ Event

Hartford Taste is Connecticut’s premier food, art and music event. Showcasing the Capital City’s diverse community and how we work and play, attendees can plan on two days of music, entertainment and cuisine in Constitution Plaza. The Hartford, which insures nearly 1.5 million small business customers, is once again covering all vendor fees so restaurants can participate for free.
For two days, Friday, June 9 through Saturday, June 10, from noon to 9 p.m., Constitution Plaza in Hartford will come alive with culinary adventures, experiential entertainment and so much more. Celebrating our rich cultural diversity, this event draws families, friends and colleagues from the Greater Hartford Region.

Get ready to sample 30-plus restaurants serving up delicious food and drink from around the world. West Hartford restaurants participating include Coracora, Frida, and The Place 2 Be.
There will also be over 30 musical acts: salsa, reggae, country, rock, and more! Performances will take place all day on two different stages.

And for all of you art lovers, Hartford Creates is funding an “Instagrammable” Hartford series of mini-murals that RiseUP is facilitating at Hartford Taste!
The community will have the opportunity to contribute to several mini-murals that will be displayed around downtown Hartford at vacant storefronts.
Interactive Events include:
- CT Science Museum
- RiseUP Mural Project with artists Sophie Groenstein, Jamie Jones, and Joey Batts (Children’s Art Experience)
- Cooking Contest at 2:15 p.m,. Clock Tower Stage
- UConn Basketball players in the Madison Properties Tent include Hassan Diarra (Saturday 1-3 p.m.) and Amari Deberry (Saturday 2-4 p.m.)
- Breeze/Bradley Trip Giveaways
