The West Hartford Senior Citizens Advisory Commission has announced that the enthusiastic response to the “Should We Stay or Should We go” forum in April, 2024 fostered a further discussion of several older adult concerns, and will be offering a second forum scheduled for Tuesday, June 25, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the West Hartford Senior Center’s Bishops Corner Branch.

The SCAC is pleased to offer three topics of primary interest to forum attendees. Each will be facilitated by subject matter experts:

  • Elder Law Issues – Rebecca Hajosy, Esq
  • Home Modifications & Costs – Luan Ceka, MPA, Hartford Housing Rehabilitation Program
  • Fostering Social Connections – Gary Sekorski, Co-Founder, For All Ages & CT Collaborative to End Loneliness

We also listened to attendees’ request for fewer slides and more conversations. Join us and experience a new format designed to encourage easy interactions!

This event is free of charge and light refreshments will be available.
