West Hartford Students Earn All-Courant Honors for Fall Sports

More than a dozen athletes from West Hartford’s Conard and Hall high schools were named to the All-Courant teams for their performances in fall sports during the 2016 season.

The Hartford Courant released its All-Courant team selections this week, and numerous West Hartford athletes earned the prestigious honor for the fall 2016 season.

There are 83 high schools in the Courant’s circulation area, and probably more than a thousand varsity athletes up for consideration for the All-Courant teams. West Hartford students made a tremendous impact on the fall sports scene this year, with the following Conard and Hall students earning All-Courant or Honorable Mention status:

Football – Offense

Brandon Beecher, Hall, junior

Declan Flaherty, Conard, senior (Honorable Mention)

Football – Defense

Brendan Connors, Conard, senior (Honorable Mention)

Kyron Bridges, Conard, senior (Honorable Mention)

Boys Soccer

Chris Monnes, Hall, senior

John Punt, Hall, junior (Honorable Mention)

Boys Cross Country

Trey Cormier, Hall, sophomore

Samuel Nanni, Conard, senior (Honorable Mention)

Girls Cross Country
