The University of Hartford is preparing to welcome new and returning students to campus on a staggered schedule from Thursday, Aug. 22, through Sunday, Aug. 25. UHart is welcoming a large incoming first-year class on Friday, Aug. 23, with this day expected to be the busiest day of the move-in period.

During this time, high traffic patterns are expected on and around campus, especially near the main entrance on Bloomfield Avenue. Increased traffic is also expected on routes from highway exits toward campus, including Albany Avenue, Simsbury Road, and Cottage Grove Road.

Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes if possible and allow extra time for travel through the area.
