The Art Museum at the University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford now offers access to its collection at your fingertips.

The Art Museum at the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) is pleased to announce that its distinguished collection of more than 2,000 works of art is now available online.
“We are thrilled to take this next step in making our collection accessible to the public,” said Ann. H. Sievers, director and curator of the Art Museum at USJ. “We invite everyone to browse our collection, view familiar highlights, and discover new favorites.”
Among the strengths of the Museum’s collection are American 20th century paintings, European and American prints from the 15th century to the present, and Japanese woodblock prints. In addition to works by Thomas Hart Benton, Georgia O’Keeffe, Milton Avery, and Sol LeWitt, the collection features artists associated with Connecticut’s famous art colonies as well as a growing representation of African American, Latin American, and contemporary Japanese artists. The collection can be accessed at www.usj.edu/artcollection.
The Art Museum at USJ is free of charge and open to the public Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 11 a.m.-4 p.m., Thursdays from 11 a.m.-7 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m.-4 p.m., and Sundays from 1-4 p.m. The Museum is located on the West Hartford campus of the University of Saint Joseph at 1678 Asylum Ave.
The Art Museum at USJ is part of the Connecticut Art Trail, a nationally recognized partnership between 21 world-class museums and historic sites, created to promote Connecticut’s rich cultural assets as part of a travel experience.
