ASAP! invites the community to a free public exhibition celebrating the work of Connecticut high school students participating in the fourth annual Summer Photography Intensive.

The exhibition will take place Thursday, July 2, at 3 p.m. in The Silpe Gallery at Hartford Art School, University of Hartford in West Hartford.

The Summer Photography Intensive is a nine-day, immersive program that brings together high school students from across Connecticut to learn analog and digital photography, visual storytelling, and darkroom techniques while experiencing life on a college campus. Guided by professional photographers and Hartford Art School faculty; Robert Calafiore and Sophia Singer, students develop technical skills, creative confidence, and a portfolio of original work.

The culminating exhibition showcases each student’s photographs and celebrates their artistic growth and accomplishments.

The public is encouraged to attend and support Connecticut’s next generation.
