On Aug. 19, 2023, Ball 4 a Cure Inc. will host its third Annual Jam 4 a Cure charity benefit concert at Parkville Market.

The proceeds from the event will benefit the Ball 4 a Cure Family Support Fund at Connecticut Children’s and help families battling pediatric cancer afford rent, mortgages, and in-home medical equipment. It will also fund programs that allow kids to be kids.

This year, Jam 4 a Cure will be rodeo-themed and feature three bands, a mechanical bull, food and drink specials, and unique merchandise for sale. All are welcome and tickets can be purchased at ball4acure.org or at the door. The first band is scheduled to perform at 6:30 p.m.

Ball 4 A Cure was launched by seven Conard High School graduates in 2015 with a mission to unite communities to support the patients and families of pediatric cancer. Since its founding, Ball 4 a Cure’s grassroot efforts caught fire and has raised over $220,000 to benefit patients and families of pediatric cancer. Last year, Ball 4 a Cure hosted six events and donated $75,000 to its Family Support Fund.

Ball 4 a Cure thanks its sponsors, enthusiastic participants, generous donors, and the team at Connecticut Children’s Hospital for improving the continuum of care and quality of life for patients and their families.
