Clean-up at West Hartford’s Bar Louie is continuing after a cap at the end of a sprinkler pipe popped off, flooding the Blue Back Square restaurant on Tuesday.

“Our goal is to re-open Friday as long as repairs stay on track. We want to make sure everything is clean and safe before we have guests in the building,” Manager Marlena Rober said Wednesday evening in an email.

Rober said that Bar Louie plans to throw a “Red, White and Blue” party on Saturday to celebrate the holiday weekend, get everyone in a patriotic mood, and ready for the Fourth of July.

“It will be a fun way to get back into the swing of things after these crazy days ‘off,'” Rober said.
