Conard head field hockey coach Cathy Callahan has been selected as Coach of the Year in Field Hockey for Class L.

Callahan was selected by the CHSCA Field Hockey All-State selection Committee and will be recognized along with her two All-State Field Hockey players, Caroline Kane and Charlotte Leyland, at an upcoming banquet.

The All-State Banquet will be held at the Aqua Turf in Southington at 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 1, 2015.

As of Nov. 17, Conard’s field hockey team has a 17-1-0 record this season as is seeded no. 2 in the state in Class L. The team will face no. 6 seed Wilton on Nov. 17 at 5 p.m. in Cheshire in the Class L semifinals.
