Jessica Shepherd, a 2012 graduate of West Hartford’s Conard High School, has been chosen for the New England Women’s Basketball Class Senior All- Star game.

Jessica Shepherd of West Hartford, a 2012 graduate of Conard High School who concluded a four-year career at Mitchell College on Feb. 21, will play in the New England Women’s Basketball Classic Senior All-Star Game on Saturday, March 25 at Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, MA.
Shepherd averaged a career high 13.7 points per game this season which led the team and was 11th in the New England Collegiate Conference.
On Valentine’s Day Shepherd scored her 1,000th point for Mitchell, and she finished her career as the school’s third all-time scorer (1,040 points) and record holder for career 3-pointers (174).
Shepherd is the only player to represent the NECC in the All-Star Game on Saturday and is just the second player from Mitchell to ever play in the game.
