The Farmers’ Market at Bishops Corner in West Hartford had a dog-oriented theme on Saturday, and many canines came to check it out.

The dog days of summer were enjoyed by two-legged as well as four-legged visitors to the Farmers’ Market at Bishops Corner on Saturday, Aug. 6.
In addition to the farmers market’s regular vendors, dog-related services and products were highlighted with booths that included the West Hartford Dog Park Coalition, Hartford Obedience Training, MGB Pet Sitting, Wholesome Animal Grocery Store of Avon, and Oma’s Pride Natural Pet Food.
Dog bowls with fresh water – and a wide variety of treats – abounded.
“Woof,” was the word of the day, and most dog owners would probably interpret it to mean: “Thanks for dedicating a day to the dogs.”
