Foodshare has reinvented its annual Walk Against Hunger for 2020 as a virtual event, which will be held from Sept. 13-19.

Foodshare’s rescheduled Walk Against Hunger will take place “virtually” Sept. 13-19 during Hunger Action Month!

The weeklong experience will involve teams and individuals selecting their own 1.5-mile course to walk any time during the week.

The Walk is one of Foodshare’s largest fundraisers of the year which funds essential programs that benefits Foodshare and its partner programs which help the organization serve the growing number of people in Greater Hartford who struggle with hunger.

Your fundraising efforts will also support Foodshare’s long-term efforts to increase access to healthy food while addressing the underlying issues that contribute to hunger.

Along with Presenting Sponsor, Stop & Shop, and with the support of the Hartford Yard Goats and numerous community sponsors, Foodshare is excited for this virtual experience and the opportunity to raise awareness of food insecurity in Greater Hartford.
