Futures Inc. – a local non-profit organization dedicated to serving the needs of community members with disabilities – has launched registration for its annual fundraising gala, aimed at supporting the work of the organization’s educational and employment programs.

The event will take place on Nov. 4, 2021 at 5 p.m., at The Aqua Turf Club in Plantsville, CT. COVID forced the event online last year, but it was such a smashing success, Futures Inc. has decided to retain an online element while inviting members of their growing support community to join them for an evening of great food and entertainment in the form of their famous Good Cause Gifts Fashion Show.

“We are thrilled to bring together our community, both in person and online, for a truly unique experience that will only expand the visibility of our programs and partners,” said Futures Inc. President Pamela DonAroma. “This annual show is anticipated by our consumers and staff alike and we are excited to share all the new initiatives we have developed thanks to the continued generosity of our donors and supporters.”

Good Cause Gifts – located in West Hartford Center, Berlin, and at The Hospital for Special Care – is one of the organization’s social enterprises. It is a social enterprise gift store, and an important employment opportunity for Futures Inc. consumers.

Also featured at the event will be treats and snack boxes provided by The Kitchen at Futures Inc. – the organization’s non-profit social enterprise commercial kitchen, which will soon launch a “To Go” program and hot dog cart from its Middletown location.

Futures Inc. invites the community to be a part of this modern event and visit www.betterunite.com/futuresinc8thannualgalafashionshow to learn more and register now!
