Gene Sheehan, Master Communicator, Dies At 78

Gene Sheehan retired after a long career Sullivan & LeShane several years ago but remained in the public relations field, working with businesses and organizations in West Hartford and throughout the area.

Longtime communications and advertising professional Gene Sheehan, who worked for public relations firm Sullivan & LeShane for 30 years, died Wednesday at the age of 78.
Sheehan began working for a newly-minted Sullivan & LeShane in Hartford in 1989 as president of public relations, after the company was founded in 1986 by Paddi LeShane and Patrick Sullivan.
“We are deeply saddened by the loss of our former partner, Gene,” CEO Paddi LeShane said in a statement. “His infectious energy and enthusiasm for every day, every challenge and every project we worked on together are memories we will cherish forever.”
