‘Great Children’s Read’ Will Be Held at Mandell JCC

Children and families can enjoy page-turning fun at the Mandell JCC’s 5th Annual Great Children’s Read on Sunday, Nov. 9, 2014.

Book loving families are invitied to sit, listen and enjoy Children’s classics and PJ Library stories at the Mandell JCC’s 5th Annual Great Children’s Read, on Sunday, Nov. 9, 2014 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Mandell JCC, Zachs Campus, 335 Bloomfield Avenue, West Hartford, CT. This event is free and open to the community, and is presented by the Mandell JCC Jewish Book Festival, the Family Room Parenting Center, and PJ Library of Greater Hartford.

The Great Children’s Read will include Children’s books and PJ Library stories read aloud by local personalities, interactive art activities and a sing-along with Kindermusik’s Jen Ludgin. PJ Library will also be having a Book Swap that allows families to bring in duplicate books or books their children have outgrown and trade them in for books they may not have at home or donate their books to be distributed.

This event is free and open to the community.
