Fall fashions are here and they may feel familiar to those who lived through the 70s, according to featured stylist Kimberly Moster, owner of Kimberly Boutique in West Hartford Center.

There is definitely a retro feeling to the season … including flared denim, bohemian prints, and fur vests.
Fringe is everywhere this season; you’ll find it on bags, sweaters, and jackets! That feeling definitely inspired our fashion shoot and my mid-century home seemed like the perfect place to do it. If you already did the 70s look and don’t want to revisit it – don’t worry – there are still plenty of fashionable looks for you to covet.
Last year’s rough winter must have influenced the designers because they are featuring some amazing outerwear and leathers this season. This is the year to buy a coat!
Beautiful sweaters also abound this season – the best we’ve ever seen.
And finally, hems have come down a bit – making for some gorgeous and ladylike A-line and pencil skirts.
While it’s always sad to see the summer end, luckily fall fashion is here to cheer us up!
