To the Editor:

I am pleased to write this letter to support Chris Barnes, State Representative in the 19^th Assembly District. I know Chris in several capacities. He is a friend, colleague and neighbor. I have had the pleasure of knowing him since he moved to West Hartford and I found him to be a hard-working, diligent attorney, neighbor and father. I find it remarkable that he is able to do as much as he does given his commitment to his career and family.

Chris has represented West Hartford’s interests zealously on the Town Council. He has been an outspoken advocate on significant issues including purchase of the UConn property, several key zoning decisions and has been a voice of reason for fiscal responsibility. He is also a small business owner. The 19^th District needs an individual with Chris’ background, training and genuine good judgment at the State House.

Chris is truly a citizen politician and is running for the right reasons. Please join me and support Chris as I vote enthusiastically for him in the 19^th Assembly District on Election Day.
