‘Thank You’ from Holy Family Retreat Center

Holy Family Retreat Center would like to express its deep gratitude to the community for the tremendous response to our “Taste of Holy Family” event on Sept. 21.

More than 450 people stopped by our campus on a lovely, warm, early fall day to check out our offerings and find out what Holy Family “is really all about.”

We were delighted to offer tours of our four “entities” – Holy Family Retreat Center, Copper Beech Institute, Spiritual Life Center, and Golden Thread Gallery – and introduce our neighbors to the wide variety of experiences available to them right here in West Hartford – from spiritual retreats to mindfulness courses to yoga classes to art exhibits.

We cordially invite all our neighbors to come back often.  Among other things, we’re offering parenting training, a Zen weekend, holiday bread-baking, and a “Care for the Caregiver” program in the next few months, the renowned Thomas Moore is coming in November, and our Advent offerings and exceptional music will put you in the true holiday spirit.

Again, we are grateful to the many wonderful folks who introduced themselves to us several Sundays ago.  We invite them, and all of you whom we have yet to meet, to keep in touch and let us know how we can serve you.  We feel blessed to be part of this thriving and giving community as messengers of hope, spiritual growth, and transformation.

Peace,

Fr. David Cinquegrani
