To the Editor,
I am writing to enthusiastically endorse my good friend Alberto Cortes for re-election to the West Hartford Town Council. I have known Alberto for years, and in that time, I’ve seen firsthand his deep commitment to our community, his integrity, and his thoughtful leadership.
I first met Alberto when he ran for Town Council in 2019. Since then we’ve become good friends. I know Al as a devoted husband and father, a man of faith, a man with an amazing work ethic, and a man who cares deeply for West Hartford.
Alberto is not someone who seeks the spotlight – he seeks solutions, often reaching across the aisle to find common ground on issues. Whether volunteering at local events, supporting neighborhood initiatives, or listening to residents’ concerns, he consistently demonstrates the kind of steady, compassionate, and thoughtful leadership that West Hartford deserves. He approaches every issue with an open mind and a willingness to collaborate, always keeping the best interests of our residents at heart. I know that Alberto will continue to bring a strong sense of civic responsibility to the Council.
I hope my neighbors will join me in supporting Alberto Cortes for re-election to the West Hartford Town Council. He is the kind of thoughtful, dedicated public servant who will work tirelessly for all of us.
Sincerely,
Stephanie Barnes
West Hartford
