To the Editor,

I am writing to urge my fellow West Hartford residents to support Deb Polun for town council this Tuesday.

I’ve know Deb for many years, both professionally and as a friend, and I can attest that her ethics, passion and commitment to the community are impressive.

As a state legislator, I have had the opportunity to work closely with her in her role on the board of education and on the town council. Deb is a collaborator and an excellent listener. She is also a strong advocate for our schools, ensuring people can access services, and feel connected to the community.

West Hartford is a great place to live and that doesn’t happen by accident. The Democratic team on the council do a great job for us. Deb is an important part of that team and I am excited to vote for her this week. See you at the polls!

State Senator Derek Slap
