Ensuring West Hartford continues to be a safe, supportive place for our LGBTQ+ residents requires strong leaders. Kate Farrar has been a tremendous partner, and re-electing her as state representative will keep us moving forward.
Whenever she is needed, Kate has been there to support our LGBTQ+ community – whether it be by attending events, brainstorming with the West Hartford Pride’s planning committee, or by voting in support of measures that expand and strengthen LGBTQ+ rights.
Her values are always clear. Kate Farrar means what she says, and her words are followed up with action. In my experience that has not been the case with other politicians, but we have always been able to trust Kate. Working together with Kate, I have seen how she listens closely to people’s needs and goals, then makes every effort to fight on their behalf.
