Letters submitted by political candidates will be considered for publication up to 14 days prior to an election and most will be published within 48 hours of receipt. Letters that contain personal attacks or include profanity of any type will not be published. To the Editor:

I want to applaud We-Ha.com for its coverage of town events that celebrate our community. We are a town that recognizes that the people who live here bring diverse and meaningful experiences to our town, and it is important to recognize and report on the myriad of activities that honor the people who help make up such a dynamic population. We have numerous events that allow our community to come together and show how we are stronger because we support one another, including, but not limited to, Juneteenth and Pride. I am grateful that I live in such a town and that you continue to do your job and report on these newsworthy occurrences.

You have honored the beauty in our community (the many murals that have been created, the arts at our various schools, etc); you have applauded the accomplishments of our residents (students, first responders, teachers); and, you continue to promote businesses throughout the town.
