To the editor,

Beth Kerrigan, and her wife Jody, are dear friends of ours. Our children went to Whiting Lane together and they were best of friends.

It was during these years that I learned about Beth: her commitment to her family, the community, and social justice.

Over the years Beth impressed me with her ability to maintain focus and advocate for what is best for our community. She has been a strong advocate for our community even before her time on council. When the Medicare savings program was in jeopardy, Beth worked to protect our seniors’ health care.

Beth Kerrigan was deeply involved with “Save Our Water,” fighting against MDC’s discount for corporations like Niagara when MDC wanted to put corporations first in line for their water – which West Hartford counts on every day.

She not only built an insurance agency that was purchased by Travelers, but served on a House Party Transition Committee.

I am so grateful for Beth’s energy and commitment to West Hartford and her ability to manage parenting two wonderful kids while accomplishing all of these  incredible things!

Beth is a champion for West Hartford and what makes West Hartford one of the most sought after towns in the country to live in.

I ask you to vote for Beth and the whole Row A slate to keep West Hartford moving forward.
