Photographers Invited to Submit Work for West Hartford Art League Exhibit

The West Hartford Art League has issued a call for artists for the ‘Exposures’ photography exhibit.

The West Hartford Art League is holding its 20th Annual Photography Exhibit Feb. 12 – March 5 in its Clubhouse Gallery. This exhibit is open to all photographers. Alternative process, digital and traditional photography is encouraged.

All work must be current and not have been shown in any other exhibit within the last year. Up to four pieces may be entered, there is a limit of two acceptances.

The exhibit will be juried by Stephen Dunn, a veteran journalist with 36 years of experience at the Hartford Courant. He has covered stories throughout the world as well as hundreds of poignant stories in Connecticut.

Dunn has covered stories as diverse as life in Hartford’s last housing project to the America’s Cup in western Australia. In addition to covering every president since Gerald Ford, he has photographed the NCAA Final Four in Texas twice, the GOP National Convention in New York and the San Francisco earthquake of 1989. Dunn was a member of the Pulitzer Prize-winning team for spot news in 1999.
