The Conard girls lacrosse team opened the 2025 season on Saturday morning at home in West Hartford with a 19-2 rout of Lewis Mills (Burlington).

Senior captain Olivia Hole scored a goal, but also her 100th assist in the win, head coach Megan Cersosimo said.

Scoring for the day, according to Cerosimo, was:

• CC Cersosimo – 4 goals, 4 assists
• Nicole Gorman – 4 goals
• Ashley Gorman – 3 goals
• Freja Morris – 3 goals
• Olivia Hole – 1 goal, 3 assists
• Jacqueline Capone – 1 goal, 1 assist
• Caitlin Walsh – 1 goal, 1 assist
• Aubrey Montresor – 1 goal
• Courtney McPhee – 1 goal
• Grace Minahan – 1 assist

Cersosimo said that all three of Conard’s goalies played on Saturday. Maya Nanayakkara had 3 saves (0 goals against), Kiara Molas had 2 saves (1 goal against), and Avery Freiday had 4 saves (1 goal against).

Lewis Mills is coached by Conard alum, Rose St. Hilaire.

The Red Wolves will be home the rest of the week, hosting Tolland on Tuesday and Cheshire on Friday, with both games beginning at 4. p.m.
