Award-winning professional theatre Playhouse on Park is now casting for its upcoming seventh season. Local auditions will be held at the Playhouse on August 30 and 31, and New York City auditions will be held on July 10 and 11.
Playhouse on Park continues its mission to ensure every performance in the Main Stage Season educates, entertains, and most importantly, challenges our audiences. Paramount to this mission is our diverse programming, which challenges patrons to consider theatre in all forms.
The Season Seven Main Stage Series includes: TUESDAYS WITH MORRIE by Jeffrey Hatcher and Mitch Albom, PASSING STRANGE, book and lyrics by Stew, music by Stew and Heidi Rodewald, THE CHOSEN by Aaron Posner and Chaim Potok, I HATE HAMLET by Paul Rudnick, W;T by Margaret Edson, and A CHORUS LINE by Michael Bennett, James Kirkwood, Nicholas Dante, Marvin Hamlisch and Edward Kliben. The Season Seven Young Audience Series includes: THE THREE LITTLE PIGS THE MUSICAL by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe and JUNIE B. JONES THE MUSICAL by Marcy Heisler and Zena Goldrich.
