Spring Toward Spring at Indoor Triathlon at JCC in West Hartford

Greater Hartford athletes, male and female, can try a fun fitness challenge with the Mandell JCC’s Indoor Sprint Triathlon Challenge on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at 10 a.m. at the Mandell JCC, Zachs Campus, 335 Bloomfield Ave., West Hartford, CT. This event is open to the community and participants can compete as an individual or as a member of a team.
The Indoor Sprint Triathlon is the perfect opportunity for a beginner to get a taste of the Triathlon experience or a veteran triathlete to measure the effectiveness of their winter training. Participants can also compete in teams of two or three and share in the fun by completing one or more legs of the challenge. The challenge consists of a 20-minute indoor pool swim (any stroke), a 20-minute guided ride on a spin bike, and a 20-minute walk/run on a treadmill.
Registration is required by March 4, 2016. Individual fees are: $30 for the community individual, $25 for Mandell JCC members and $15 for student individuals.
