USJ Women’s Leadership Center to Host “Behind the Camera: Groundbreaking Women in Media” Program

The Women’s Leadership Center of the University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford will host the virtual program on Wednesday, Feb. 9.

The Women’s Leadership Center (WLC) at the University of Saint Joseph is pleased to partner with The Hartford in hosting “Behind the Camera: Groundbreaking Women in Media” on Feb. 9, 2022, from 7-8 p.m.

Join us for this dynamic event featuring women who have blazed a trail through a variety of media. The following leaders in film, print, and audio will speak about their career paths across the media landscape, and will share insights and strategies for women and men interested in entering the field:

  • Donna Collins, Executive Producer, Media and Marketing Consultant
  • Neely Lohmann, Head of Audio, SoHi Media
  • Lydia B. Smith, Independent Producer/Director

Founded in 2016, the Women’s Leadership Center (WLC) at the University of Saint Joseph is committed to developing inspiring and effective leaders and preparing women for success in their future careers.

This year the WLC is celebrating its five-year anniversary with a year-long initiative, Advancing Your Career in a Complex World, that focuses on diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workforce that strengthens women leaders everywhere.

This series is hosted by the WLC, sponsored by The Hartford, and planned in consultation with the National Conference for Community and Justice.
