I hinted in last week’s column that Business Buzz might be on hiatus this week, as has been the case for the middle week of my vacation the past two summers. In the 12 years since I started this column, there have only been a handful of times that we have skipped a week, but it’s mid-August, many residents are also away, and there has been a definite lull in business activity in West Hartford.

There’s a newsletter today, and there will be one on Wednesday as well, but barring any major incidents there will not be a newsletter distributed on Friday, Aug. 14.

Look for what I already know will be a jam-packed Business Buzz on Aug. 17, and the resumption of our regular newsletter schedule! And if you have information to share about local businesses, please provide details in the comments or email [email protected].
