The West Hartford Center Business Association’s Annual We Care Card fundraiser will run from Nov, 5-15, 2026, to Benefit the Ron Foley Foundation.

The West Hartford Center Business Association (WHCBA) will hold its annual “We Care” Card fundraiser event for the ninth year, and for the fifth year in a row the campaign invites the community to “shop, dine, and give back” in support of the West Hartford-based nonprofit Ron Foley Foundation.

Those who donate $50 or more during the campaign, which runs from Nov. 5-15, will receive a We Care Card that can be used during that period of time for discounts of up to 20% at participating West Hartford Center businesses, including boutiques, specialty retailers, and restaurants.

In 2025, the West Hartford Center Business Association raised $17,900 through the We Care Card fundraiser to benefit the Ron Foley Foundation, which assists individuals and families affected by pancreatic cancer by advocating for early detection, supporting innovative research, and providing additional resources. The WHCBA hopes to make an even more meaningful impact this year.

“The We Care Card is a great example of what makes West Hartford Center such a special community,” said Kimberly Moster of Kimberly Boutique. “It brings our local businesses and residents together for a cause that affects so many families, while giving people another reason to shop, dine, and support the businesses right here in the Center. We’re proud to be part of this tradition and to continue supporting the Ron Foley Foundation and the important work they do.”

There are 21 businesses participating in the 2026 We Care Card event, including: Arugula, BK&CO, Bohdii, Café Sofia, Central Optica, The Claypen, Daswani Clothiers, Fleet Feet, French Cleaners, Good Cause Gifts, Hope & Stetson, J.McLaughlin, Kaoud Rugs, Kimberly Boutique, Kimberly Gift, Lil Hope, Max Burger, Max’s Oyster Bar, Mosaic Sun, Savoy, and Store 52.

“The Ron Foley Foundation is honored to be selected as the beneficiary again this year, with all proceeds from card sales supporting the Foundation,” a spokesperson for the organization said.

The We Care Card not only brings local businesses and residents together to support the Ron Foley Foundation’s mission, but also heading into the holiday season celebrates and the independent businesses that help make West Hartford Center “a vibrant community destination.”

We Care Cards can be obtained online through the Ron Foley Foundation here as well as in person at BK & Co, Bohdii, Central Optica, Daswani, Fleet Feet, French Cleaners, J McLaughlin, and Kimberly Boutique.

“Cardholders can present their card to redeem eligible discounts and special offers throughout the 10-day fundraiser. Individual business offers may be subject to restrictions and exclusions,” organizers said.
