Fifth grade graduations were among the events that had to be canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but West Hartford’s elementary schools found various ways to bid goodbye to their fifth graders.

The schools hosted drive-up parades or other types of physically distanced celebrations to mark the milestone ending elementary school.

School is now officially out for summer – but banners and signs remain at most of West Hartford’s elementary schools.

Thanks to Ted Newton for capturing these images!
