Due to the heat, all West Hartford public elementary schools will dismiss at 1 p.m. in Tuesday, Sept. 4.

Superintendent of Schools Tom Moore said Monday evening that all of the town’s public elementary schools will dismiss at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 4, due to a forecast heat advisory.
Only two of the town’s elementary schools are completely air conditioned.
Dismissal time for the middle and high schools will remain on a regular schedule.
