It has been another busy sports week for West Hartford’s high school athletes.
The field hockey teams at both schools continue stellar performances, both logging a pair of wins this past week. The 8-2 Conard Chieftains knocked off previously-unbeaten South Windsor on Oct. 7, with score of 3-2. Hall was 6-2 as of Oct. 7, but after another victory on Wednesday the team is 7-2.
Cross Country scores are not readily available, but we do know that the Conard girls team defeated Hall on Oct. 7 by a socre of 21-39. Sophomore Gwen Geisler of Conard was the overall winner in a time of 19:47 on the 3.1 mile course at Hall.
