Conard Head Coach Matt Cersosimo praised his team’s defensive efforts and said the offense fought hard keeping the team in the game. Following the loss in the home opener, Conard drops to 1-2, and will host Simsbury on Friday, Oct. 10.
New Britain’s (3-1) only loss was to Northwest Catholic, currently ranked no. 8 in the region, on Sept. 12. New Britain will host top-ranked Southington on Friday, Oct. 10.
