Scores from Conard and Hall high school varsity competition, Oct. 1 – Oct. 6, 2020.

By Ronni Newton

Competition began for the 2020 fall sports season on Oct. 1, and while an element of uncertainty remains about how long seasons will be able to continue, student-athletes are happy to be back on the fields and in the gyms and pools.

West Hartford teams, like many other high school teams throughout the state, have been holding senior nights at their first or second home contests – to be sure that seniors have the opportunity to be honored in case COVID-19 results in an abrupt end to the season.

Conard vs. Hall competition is also scheduled for early in the season, although in some cases the teams will face each other twice.

We-Ha.com attended both the boys and girls Conard vs. Hall soccer games on Saturday and has published stories and photo galleries of both. To see the coverage of the boys game, click here. Coverage of the girls game can be found here.

We will only be able to attend a small number of games this season, but would love to share the information and special moments with the community.

West Hartford Community Interactive will be live-streaming many of the home contests on their YouTube channel. Click here to subscribe and receive notification of upcoming events.

Please email photos or details from recent games or meets to Ronni Newton at [email protected].

Scores are listed below and have been compiled from the CIAC website. Click here for the Conard varsity schedule, and click here for the Hall varsity schedule.
