The public is invited to join the West Hartford Art League on Thursday, April 21, at 7 p.m., to learn about the history of the organization’s schoolhouse building on Mountain Road – that building you always drive by and want to know more about. Town Historian Tracey Wilson will lead the discussion.

As one of West Hartford’s original one room schoolhouses, it has been owned and operated by the West Hartford Art League since 1934 and is now used for art classes.

There is a suggested donation of $5 to attend the session.

The West Hartford Art League has a small parking lot to the right of the schoolhouse building. Please enter by the front door because there is a pottery class in the lower level that evening. If the schoolhouse lot is full, parking is also available in the lot at 37 Buena Vista Rd., right down the street (2 minute walk) in front of the saltbox building.
