The children’s department at the Noah Webster Public Library will have a special screening of “Officer Buckle and Gloria,” a story by Peggy Rathmann about Officer Buckle who is partnered with a police dog named Gloria, who has her own way of demonstrating safety tips! Parents are welcome to attend.

In addition, your children will be able to meet Police Officer Dante Ursini of the West Hartford Police Community Relations Division to learn about what police officers do to keep us safe in town! The event will be held in the Noah Webster Library Storyroom. Online registration required. Please go to this link: bit.ly/May12_Police or call the children’s department at 860-561-6980 for more information.

The event will be held on Thursday, May 12, at 10:30 a.m., at the  West Hartford Public Library, 20 South Main St. Anyone parking in the Isham St. Garage should bring their white parking card to the program and your parking will be validated.
