West Hartford Mayor Shari Cantor will present her “State of the Town” address to the community on Jan. 31, 2019, providing a look back at the past year as well as her view of the future of the town.
She will take questions from the audience following her speech.
The State of the Town, which also includes a luncheon, will once again be held in the ballroom of the Delmar West Hartford Hotel.
“Tickets are selling really well,” said West Hartford Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Chris Conway. He said that he expects the event, which is a great opportunity to mingle with business and community leaders over lunch, to be a sell-out.
“The presentation is both engaging and informative for anyone who lives or does business in West Hartford,” Conway said.
This is the third time that Cantor, a lifelong resident of West Hartford, will give the annual State of the Town speech. She has been mayor since May 17, 2016, and prior to that was deputy mayor (2011-2016) and has been a member of the Town Council since 2004.
The State of the Town luncheon will be held on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019, from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in the ballroom of the Delamar West Hartford Hotel.
TD Bank is the presenting sponsor of this year’s State of the Town.
Pre-registration is required at www.whchamber.com or by calling the chamber offices at 860-521-2300.
