West Hartford Mayor Shari Cantor will present her “State of the Town” address to the community on Jan. 28, 2020, providing a look back at the past year as well as her view of the future of the town.
She will take questions from the audience following her speech.
The State of the Town, which also includes a luncheon, will once again be held in the ballroom of the Delmar West Hartford Hotel.
“As part of our commitment to be West Hartford’s community and business connection, The West Hartford Chamber of Commerce is proud to facilitate this important community forum,” Chamber Executive Director Christopher Conway said.
He said that he expects the engaging and informative event, which is a great opportunity to mingle with business and community leaders over lunch, to be a sell-out.
This is the fourth time that Cantor, a lifelong resident of West Hartford, will give the annual State of the Town speech. She has been mayor since May 17, 2016, and prior to that was deputy mayor (2011-2016) and has been a member of the Town Council since 2004.
The State of the Town luncheon will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2020, from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in the ballroom of the Delamar West Hartford Hotel.
The Delamar will provide lunch and pre-registration is required. Tickets are $40 West Hartford Chamber of Commerce Members and $45 for non-members.
This year’s Presenting Sponsor is TD Bank. Gold Sponsors include The Mercy Community, UHY Advisors, and Westfield Bank, and WHMedia is the media sponsor.
Sponsorship opportunites are still available.
Pre-registration is required at www.whchamber.com or by calling the chamber offices at 860-521-2300.
