West Hartford Police are investigating the circumstances that led to an altercation involving three males and an apparent stabbing that sent one of the individuals to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

According to Sgt. Amanda Martin, police responded to the report of an alleged stabbing at the Shell gas station at 905 Farmington Ave., at the corner of Trout Brook Drive, at 12:09 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 26.

Arriving officers found an individual who had suffered multiple stab wounds, and treated him until West Hartford Fire Department paramedics and AMR ambulance members arrived to assist, and provided transport to an area hospital.

According to police, the altercation appears to have started inside an Uber vehicle, and two of those involved were customers while one was the driver. The fight came to an end at the Shell station parking lot.

Police have located and identified all individuals involved in the incident, Martin said, and are actively continuing their investigation.

Police said that no further information regarding the names of those involved or details regarding the nature of the injuries will be provided at this time due to the circumstances involved.
