West Hartford Police Seek Bank Robbery Suspect

Simsbury Bank on Farmington Avenue was robbed Wednesday afternoon.

West Hartford Police are seeking a suspect who robbed the Simsbury Bank at 1234 Farmington Ave. Wednesday afternoon.

The suspect handed the teller a note but did not display a weapon, police said.

He left with an undisclosed amount of cash and was last seen headed west through the parking lot.

The incident happened at 2:07 p.m.

Police said the suspect is a white male, and was wearing a dark baseball cap, a white or light-colored t-shirt, a dark hip-length rain jacket with a hood, baggy jeans, and white sneakers.

    I noticed a typo in your article.

    It reads:
    He left with an undisclosed about of cash and was last seen headed west through the parking lot.

    But should be:
    He left with an undisclosed amount of cash and was last seen headed west through the parking lot.
