West Hartford Police Seek Suspect in Bank Robbery

According to the police, the TD Bank at 143 South Main St. was robbed at 2:08 p.m.

West Hartford police are still searching for the suspect who robbed a TD Bank at 143 South Main St. Thursday afternoon.

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man they describe as being tan with a slender build and standing at about 5’8″to 5’10” with very short brown hair.

The surveillance video shows a white male, approximately 40 years old, wearing a blue polo style shirt with a white emblem on the left side of his chest, and white golf shorts with large checkered stripes throughout them.

According to police, the man entered the bank and showed a note demanding an undisclosed amount of money.

Police said the suspect was given cash and left the bank.

Police said they are unsure of how the suspect left the area, and a search assisted by the Farmington Police K9 came up negative.

According to police, there were no injuries.
