West Hartford Resident and KO Student Breaks NEPSAC Diving Record

Eli Brandt, a student at Kingswood Oxford School from West Hartford, defended two of his championship titles, and also received an outstanding student-athlete award.

Eli Brandt (Kingswood Oxford class of 2023) broke his school and conference records to win his 2nd straight boys diving title with a final score of 524.0 on March 1st at the New England Preparatory School Athletic Conference (NEPSAC) Division II diving championships.
The meet was held at the Williston Northampton school in Northampton, MA. All of the divers performed 11 dives for the competition. On March 4, at the swim portion of the New England Championship meet held at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, MA, Eli received the Babcock Award, which is presented to the 2023 outstanding student-athlete at the New England Championship Meet.
Last week, Eli won the Founder’s League diving championship with a score of 483.85. It was the third time he’d won that event.
Eli has been diving for Kingswood Oxford since sixth grade. He is a two-year captain of the team. He will be diving next year at Tufts University and will be a double-degree student in their art school and the school of arts and sciences. He belongs to two club teams, the Cornerstone Diving Club, which practices at Cornerstone Aquatics Facility, and Rip-A-Dive, which practices at Trinity College.
Eli was born and raised in West Hartford.
