Even with the continuation of the COVID-19 health crisis, more than 140 golfers and 24 corporate sponsors came out to support Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sisters at the organization’s annual golf tournament, which was held recently at the Golf Club of Avon.

The event has been an area tradition since its beginning more than several decades ago.

Attendees at this year’s event enjoyed a great day of golf under sunny late summer New England skies, while following pandemic safety guidelines recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the State of Connecticut.
