Northwest Catholic junior Keagan Ostop of West Hartford was honored at the YWCA New Britain’s 2019 Women in Leadership Luncheon on May 9, 2019.

The event, held the Aqua Turf Club in Plantsville, was the 18th biennial Women in Leadership celebration honoring extraordinary women in central Connecticut. Ostop was selected because of her outstanding achievements, service, and contributions at school and in the community.

The keynote speaker at the luncheon was Anat Baron. Baron has worked as a corporate executive with world-famous brands such as Four Seasons and Mike’s Hard Lemonade, management consultant, Hollywood executive and producer, and travel expert. She is currently the Founder and CEO of StashWall, a technology startup.

To help Ostop celebrate this achievement, she was accompanied by Director of School Counseling Joyce O’Rourke and Performing Arts Department Chair Sara Avery.

Ostop has been invited to attend a special reception for this year’s honorees and past Women in Leadership honorees at Shuttle Meadow Country Club in Kensington as well.
