The West Hartford Youth Baseball League (WHYBL) has secured a new space for winter workouts and will hold its first free open house on Saturday, Jan. 21 and Sunday, Jan. 22 at our at our new indoor baseball facility at 74 Granby St., Bloomfield, CT.

Baseball stations will be set up to provide hitting, pitching, ground balls, batting tees and some light agility work. It will also be a great opportunity for families and players to see the new indoor baseball facility and meet the WHYBL leadership team. A table will be set up to answer questions and to take league registrations electronically.

Don’t miss this great opportunity to attend one of the sessions next weekend. Children from West Hartford as well as Hartford, Avon, Simsbury, Bloomfield, Newington, Farmington, and Windsor are eligible to play in WHYBL.

Players should wear sneakers and their protective cup and bring their glove and bat (and helmet if they have one). Catchers can bring their catching equipment if they would like to work out with a pitcher in one of our bullpens. Several sets of catcher’s equipment will also be available at the facility.
