First Church West Hartford will dedicate the bench on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2024.

Unity Green Bench has been installed! It now sits on First Church’s front lawn, near the sidewalk, facing the green.

The church decided to have the bench placed in that location instead of on Unity Green itself due to the possibility of renovations in West Hartford Center over the next several years, and they didn’t want the bench to be damaged or lost in the shuffle.

First Church will be holding a moment of dedication for the bench at 11:15 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 3.
